My signature Highlights Film features scenes from your entire wedding day. Artistically edited to span about 6 minutes, this film highlights the most emotional points of the day. Paired with cinematic music and personal audio, this piece is my favorite way to tell your love story.

Rehearsal Dinner
Your wedding weekend extended with this video add on. This is for those that would like toasts and other special moments captured outside of the wedding day. This includes up to 3 hours of coverage. The footage is delivered either in a mini-documentary film and added to your Highlights Film or it is added to your Documentary Film if you choose that option.

We intend to let you and your guests feel natural while we search for candid laughter, tearful smiles, and inside jokes. We utilize a mix of handheld, gimbal stabilizing, tripod, and multiple camera angles depending on how to best interpret the moment. Our cameras are always recording as we are looking for full moments of interactions and there can be up to four recording at one time.
Production process

I think you'll quickly gather that my favorite part about your wedding day is the audio. We capture audio through pocket lavaliers and record any microphone feeds used for the ceremony and toasts. Sound holds such resonance emotionally within our memories. I feel so fulfilled preserving the conviction of your vows, the timbre of your father's voice as he welcomes your guests, and the crack of emotion from your maid of honor's toast.
editing
Post-production involves matching captured audio to multiple camera angles, watching everything, and piecing together the story of your wedding day to music. I do my best to find music that matches the feel of your love story. The final films are color graded and remastered for a beautiful finished piece.
I have a rotation of a few trusted second shooters that I use to be sure all of the angles of covered. You can expect the same workmanship and demeanor from anyone that I bring as a part of the Alpine Tree Films team. It is very important for me to retain the integrity of your wedding day by leading my team in a fly-on-the-wall approach. You'll barely know we're there so you can focus on the present moment

I send you a customized gallery via VidFlow that allows you to share with friends and family and download the file forever. Check out this gallery to see how it works.
how do you deliver the films
Within 2 weeks of your wedding, I will send you a 30 second teaser so you have something to watch and share with family and friends. You can expect the rest of your wedding film(s) between 1-4 months after your wedding date.
how long until i see my wedding film?
Sending you a hard drive with hundreds of disconnected files is just not practical. I can assure you that in my post-production process that I select the best-shot moments to create your films. This is why I create Documentary Film add-on so that you can have all the moments captured with multiple camera angles synced perfectly with stunning audio.
do you offer raw footage?
This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day: working with your photographer. I consider myself and the photographer “Team Visual”, and I love being part of this team. Photographers are great directors. I let the photo team lead, and I capture along their side. I am looking for laughter, movement, and fun in-between-posing-moments, and I need to give a very little direction to capture the authentic moments of the day.
will you work well with my photographer?
To get the true feel of your wedding day, I like to give myself the freedom of 10 hours for the Feature Film Experience and 8 hours of coverage for the Highlights Experience. As we discuss your wedding film, you let me know what is most important to you. Sparkler exit? Your maid-of-honor is a slam poet? CrossFit workout with your groomsmen? I’m ready for it all!
how many hours of coverage are included?
Travel fees are included for weddings within 1.5 hours of Buena Vista, Colorado. Weddings between 1.5-4 hours will require a hotel stipend between $150-$600 depending on the location and if you book an extra day of filming with the Rehearsal Dinner package; this would involve me staying 2 nights for your wedding weekend. I look for the most reasonably priced accommodations; I'm not too fancy. Anywhere beyond a 4 hour drive requires an added $500 in addition to a discussed hotel stipend or plane tickets.
will you travel for my wedding?
No matter the guest count of your wedding day we are filming the same amount of time to create either the 6 minute highlights film or 15-20 minute Feature Film. This involves us planning to film extra moments to fill the set amount of shooting hours for a given package. And this process can be so fun: hiking, hot springs hangs, adventuring to favorite spots, and whatever else you can think to create the elopement story that matches your love.

Step 1
First, I’d love to meet you either over the phone or coffee. Creating art is an intimate venture, and I think it's important to have a conversation before you book.
Step 2
I’ll send you a proposed contract to sign electronically. The deposit to reserve your date is 50% of the contract total and you can pay by check. The final payment is due 1 month before your wedding date.
Step 3
You can expect your wedding film(s) between 1-4 months after your wedding date. You will receive a custom gallery that you can view by clicking here.
